Lauren F. Johnson
I graduated from Michigan State University – James Madison College in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy. Immediately following my undergraduate education I attended law school at Michigan State University Law School, receiving my Juris Doctorate in 2006. My goal after graduation was to use my education to assist Michigan families in making their lives better. While attending law school I developed a strong interest in estate planning. My current focus at the firm on estate planning has enabled me to help families protect themselves and their heirs for generations to come.
Prior to joining Shea, Aiello, Doxsie & Petz P.L.L.C., I practiced in the area of personal injury litigation. However, my interest in estate planning remained, as it seemed to be good way to use my education to help Michigan families. Needless to say, I was very excited when I had the opportunity to join the firm. My current position allows me to utilize my skills and assist people with their estate planning needs, ensuring that they are able to protect their families and their wealth.
In addition to meeting with clients and preparing estate plans to carry out their wishes, I am a frequent seminar presenter and have made estate planning presentations on behalf of many corporations and religious institutions. These presentations enable me to educate attendees on what they need to do to accomplish their estate planning goals as well as the consequences of failing to plan properly. It is my hope that these presentations motivate my audience to protect themselves and their families, through implementation of an estate plan.
